My name is McKenna Trahan, I live with my wonderful husband outside of one of the best cities in the country...New Orleans! What a beautiful city, culture and people. Currently I teach piano and violin to lots of sweet little students but somehow I picked up the fashion bug along the way! My dad, George Bass, (http://www.georgebass.com/) owns a high end men's store in the heart of downtown New Orleans. I like to think that my love of fashion and all things nice comes from him! As a young girl I would work with him each Christmas wrapping luxurious gifts of cashmere and handmade English shoes for his customers. (Ok, maybe I still wrap gifts at Christmas, it's just something I haven't been able to give up yet!) His motto "Quality is economy" is forever etched into my mind. While I cannot afford to go out everyday and buy high end apparel, I've learned to buy the best in quality for my budget right now. Quality does go a long way whether its with decorating your home or building a timeless closet.
